Through my years of reviewing I have never yet tried authentic Indian food. Tonight we tried Grand Indian Kitchen, simply stated I am impressed! The staff were very pleasant and attentive. My husband had the Tandoori Chicken and I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, everything made fresh upon order including the naan bread I highly recommend the garlic naan! Every bite was delicious including my creme brulee which to my surprise they created their own version and I was happy to have on the menu for dessert as it's my favorite the restaurant was busy and they explained that the food being homemade takes longer then most restaurants but I appreciate that it's made with pride and passion. At the end of your meal they bring a warm moist lemony scented hand towel to wipe your hands what a thoughtful gesture. I highly recommend Grand Indian Kitchen if you're in the Amsterdam area.
This looks like this restaurant has been open for less than a year. But they have come a long way, the restaurant is very clean, everything is new, the staff are very nice and they care and take the time to explain and spoil you. I like spicy and he made some recommendations on the dishes, he also when to the back and made me a special sauce that was not on the menu to satisfy my spicy appetite very nice of him. I ended up having the lamb masala which had a very good amount of lamb, great flavor and was vert saucy just how I like it. The rice could have been more aromatic, like authentic Indian rice but over all It was good. The portions were generous, i also had the Gobi Bazule and was very crispy and with great flavor, its funny that in every Indian restaurant they have their own Gobi this was very flavorful it had a good amount of crispness and the sauce or covering they do is very good. To close the experience they brought warm wet wipes and that was a nice touch.! Over all a great experience. Highly recommended.
The crew are very tidy, great, & quick service. There foods is delicious all of them. I’m so particular on goat and lamb not all knows how to prepare & cook it in a right way but they did in perfection. They have a lot of selection and each time we go eat on the buffet it’s different dishes.
This place is beautiful. They did so well making it look really upscale and classy. The decor is beautiful and the bar area looks amazing. And the food was even better. Absolutely recommended you try this place. It was amazing. And pretty cheap!
Just had dinner with the family at the “Grand Indian Kitchen” the food here is amazing! My whole family loves spicy food. The lamb and chicken vindaloo dishes were delicious. The service from the whole staff was fantastic. Our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. We will definitely be going back and my goal is to try something new every time I go.
Great food, great service, and a great experience! The quality and flavor of the food is 10/10! It can be a bit pricey, but you're absolutely getting top-quality and it's worth every penny! I highly recommend the lunch buffet because you get to try a large variety of stuff to try! The staff are all so polite and sweet too. Very attentive and very kind, such lovely folks! Absolutely give Grand Indian Kitchen a try!
Food is great, servers are very friendly. The lamb vindaloo is SPICY and just delightful! The lamb samosas were crisp and hot with some amazing sauces on the side. The mango kulfi at the end was the right end for our lunch. Really enjoyed it, can't wait to come back.
We always go to their location in Albany, so we came to support their second in Amsterdam. The staff always remember us and make us feel extra special. The food and atmosphere are always 100%. They always ask for your spice preferences, which is great for people who like it spicy or not spicy. The drinks are also good.
